Coaching in the classroom places students in the driver’s seat of their very own learning experience. This “Teacher as Coach” approach to student-centered learning can lead to transformative, deep learning and growth for our students.

This workshop will explore the role of coaching in the classroom and provide tactics and tips to get started.

Mentoring and coaching are very closely connected. If you are mentoring someone, or find yourself in a mentorship role, there is a strong chance that you are engaging principles of great coaching already. Incorporating coaching methods can help foster, deep, transformative growth. This workshop will
highlight the connection between mentoring and coaching and will identify areas to incorporate coaching conversations into your next mentoring session.
