Beyond learning insights about other cultures and countries, this workshop begins by exploring one’s own taken-for-granted behaviours and values. It uses decades of intercultural research to explore transcultural values and orientations that leaders may encounter across cultural groups that shape various intercultural communication encounters.

Through role-plays and case studies, learners move from an awareness of intercultural communication strategies to building their competence in intercultural intelligence. As such, learners deepen their leadership potential, by becoming self-aware, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and mindful of differing interpretations and values.
