Virtual launch of the 2023 edition of Journal of Paralegal Access to Justice

Date: Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 2:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Microsoft Teams

This journal provides a forum for licensed paralegals, paralegal students, and paralegal educators to write critically and examine issues related to the scope of paralegal practice and the role of paralegals in advancing access to justice. In this launch we will hear from the 2023 contributors who asked hard questions about why justice is still out of reach for vulnerable communities on issues such as LGBTQ refugees, migrant workers and detainees, provincial offences backlog, family law tribunals, mental health diversion courts, artificial intelligence, marginalized and indigenous women's communities, and more.
