Give the Gift of Beekeeping

Do you know someone who would love to learn about Sustainable Urban Beekeeping?  The Humber Arboretum is pleased to offer gift certificates which can be applied to our Sustainable Urban Beekeeping courses coming up early in the new year. With this series of weekend classes and workshops, learners are free to pick and choose from topics of interest, or complete required courses and electives to earn a Sustainable Urban Beekeeping Certificate of Participation through Humber College. Humber College Health & Safety Committee is a government mandated committee that works in collaboration with Humber College to provide a safe & healthy working and learning environment to all members of the Humber community.  It is the goal of Humber and its employees to perform all tasks in a manner that minimizes risks, promotes the health, safety and well-being of all individuals, and prevents occupational injuries or illnesses.

Frank Mee Retirement Announcement

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Frank Mee on his retirement. Frank has been employed with Humber for the last 22 years as an instructor for the Civil Engineering program. He gained career experience working for the City of Toronto, Department of Transportation (legal highway surveys), R.V. Anderson and Associates Consulting Engineers (engineering and construction surveys), and J.D. Barnes Ltd. Ontario Land Surveyors (subdivision and land design and development).
