CTL: Teaching in the Hives Drop-In

Are you teaching in one of the HIVES classrooms (3rd and 4th floor F building, North) this year? Are you curious about Humber’s new interactive spaces? Come and explore the features of these rooms and practice using the technology (interactive touchscreen, control panel for wall screens, etc.). We hope that you leave feeling inspired and confident to teach in these classrooms.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be assigned to a HIVES classroom to attend.

Thank You for Your Donations!

On behalf of the Humber Faculty Union, thank you for making our Food, Clothing, and Toy Drive such a success! Your donations have found new homes with two families as well as with Women's Habitat- a shelter and outreach centre for abused women and children located in Etobicoke. Our recipients wish to express their sincere appreciation for your generosity. Happy Holidays! Pearline Lung, on behalf of Humber Faculty Union

Global Corporate Challenge - What Happens After the 100 Day Journey?

As the 100 Day Journey draws to a close, it’s important to reflect on how far we’ve come. Each participant has different reasons for having participated in the GCC, ranging from personal health goals, to increased engagement, or a desire to collaborate with colleagues.  Humber had over 260 employees participate and together we walked, biked, and swam a total of 48,090 kilometers, which equates to walking around the world 1.2 times.
