Working to Improve Infant and Maternal Care in Uganda

This Christmas Aimee and Laura have just one wish: to travel to Uganda to learn as much as they can about infant and maternal care.

Aimee, who is completing a Bachelor in Nursing at Humber, and Laura have volunteered in both orphanages and maternity wards in the past. Their hope is to return to Uganda once Aimee has completed her degree and make a positive impact on the infant and maternal care in Uganda.

CTL: Creating an Effective Lesson Plan

In this workshop, the importance of preparation by completing a needs analysis and creating an effective lesson plan will be explored.  The participants will examine suggested elements in a lesson plan as well as an effective lesson plan template.  The plan will identify what you will teach, how you will deliver the material, and how the outcomes will be measured. This session will enable participants to design and implement an effective lesson plan to meet the diverse needs of learners.
