Immunization Placement Guidelines
The Health Centre is available to complete the pre-placement medical requirements (immunizations) for your respective programs. If you are a student in the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness, Massage Therapy Program or the School of Community and Social Services you are required to complete your immunization requirements before being allowed into placement. This may also be applicable for a few other programs at both Humber Polytechnic and/or University of Guelph Humber.
Please make sure to contact your program to receive updated information regarding immunization requirements for your placement.
Please note that this process may take several weeks to complete, and the length of time will vary from person to person. It is recommended to complete all immunizations in accordance with your program deadlines.
The Health Centre encourages all students needing to complete pre-placement medical requirements to come in as soon as it is convenient as this process can be time consuming. The Health Centre will NOT be responsible for students missing their placements related to late completion of immunization records.
