I was also inspired by the sap dripping from the tree ever so slowly, almost as if the tree were alive, breathing and living freely in this world with us. 2021 Kiana Simler Advertising and Graphic Design Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

This piece has to do a lot with mental health, but also the idea of collaborative artwork; working through the design with my friend (Christian H) and sharing our ideas and disagreements was an amazing experience.

Kobe Bryant accomplished alot of goals in life but he was also a great person at heart that inspired me to keep going after my dreams as an artist that maybe one day i can become an influencer like him to send out a positive message to others that dreams can come true. Its also a memory of the two as a portrait painting done in oil paint and cubism style for the background. 2021 Shanique Myers Visual and digital arts Lakeshore Campus Social Media, Faculty/Staff, Email 07-03-2022

Jules represents joy, a living goal of sobriety and love. Her brighter colours signify the positive side of what she provides, which is a drug within itself. Rue is a drug addict, and her darker colour scheme represents the darker consequence of drug abuse. It may feel good within the moment (i.e. Thrills Formula), but since the living goal of sobriety and love (Jules) can't be by Rue's side constantly, then the Thrills Formula is bound to run out. 2022 Nura Rasoul Biotechnology North Campus Social Media 07-03-2022

He is one of India’s freedom fighters who sacrificed his own life for Indias freedom and he continues to inspire people even today. This painting was a dream come true, and ever since I created it my family members along with friends have complimented it and I am grateful for the love I received for the painting. This painting is a reproduction with a twist of my own design. I got the inspiration from many different images on google. 2018 Simran Mander Workplace Health and Wellness, Bachelor of Health Sciences North Campus Email 07-03-2022

His goal was to put a stop to the cruelty of Punjab rulers, to fight for human rights, uplift and strengthen the poor, the low and slave such as people who could not even imagine freedom. He was also famous for his battles with the Mughals for human rights and is still greatly appreciated and remembered by many punjabis. 2018 Simran Mander Workplace Health and Wellness, Bachelor of Health Sciences North Campus Word of Mouth, Email 07-03-2022

After a while, I decided to paint something new on top. I blended oil-based deep blue, crimson red, and orchid yellow with various degrees of white acrylic paint to create an eruption of colour. I left an uneven border of the original painting because I didn't want to cover it entirely.

Through this piece, I realized I paint out of irritation at times, and that's fine because there's a surge of new energy once I'm willing to move forward.

This series is one of my favourite horror movie series so this inspired me to create something for it. I started off in Cinema 4D by 3D modeling the ghost face character then adding the other assets within Cinema 4D I used arnold lighting to give that realestic effect, as well as using mostly arnold materials and rendered using arnold. I then did post production with some touch ups adding more color correction in photoshop to get that final 4k UHD look. 2022 Zackarayha Beaudry Advertising and Graphic Design Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

I had been working two jobs and attending school. When I felt I was nearing my breaking point, I dropped everything and started painting. I was able to see the colour in my life by appreciating everything I did, and I understood that this is my world, even though I feel alone and things are crazy right now. It's similar to singing in the rain, in that it's not a great day, but it's not a bad day, and you're just there, so that's all there is to it. 2022 Jasleen Dhaliwal Fashion Management Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022

Colour Photography Digital Photography, Other 11 x 8 x 6 Original Piece A group of my friends took a road trip to Halifax this summer and we toured so many attractions, as one does. This is the one that stood out the most to me. The East Coast of Canada is known for their victorian era stye houses, and all the colours that come with them. This house was named Halifax's "Wedding Cake House" and was built in 1885 for the towns former Mayor. As we were appreciating the amazing colour and the history of this house, a local was walking by and gave us the run down of the house itself and events that used to occur there, although I don't remember everything they said, it definitely gave me goosebumps. My friends and I were in awe, and I could not help snap a picture and remember that moment forever 2021 Bailey Logan-McGrath Developmental Services Worker Lakeshore Campus Email 07-03-2022
