The external awards, bursaries, and scholarships, listed below, are available to students beyond the scholarships and bursaries Humber College offers. They are provided and administered through external government, corporate, or community organizations.

Accounting Scholarship Program

Criteria: Declared a major in accounting as described below and, if applicable, been accepted to that major.

  • Resident of U.S/ Canada or permanent resident. An applicant who is not a U.S/Canadaian citizen is NOT eligible for a scholarship.
  • Undergraduate student.
  • Completed a minimum of 72 credit hours by April 1, 2018 and 84 credits by the start of the fall 2018 semester (registered credits included). A student whose program has followed an irregular pattern must be at an equivalent stage. In addition, such a student must have successfully completed at least one semester of the college’s intermediate accounting course(s).
  • Achieved an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Criteria: Intended for students across the areas of business, logistics, and similar fields. Employees and professional affiliates of North American Van Lines (and their immediate families) are not eligible. Bus.com STEM Scholarship

Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited 2- or 4-year college/university as a full-time undergraduate student OR planning to attend an accredited 2-4 year college/university as a full-time student in the Fall 2019.
  • Must provide most recent transcript showing GPA of 3.4 or greater.
  • Submit a short essay (approximately 500 words) demonstrating your interest in pursuing a STEM education.

  • A Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Enrolled in a full-time accredited bachelor’s degree at a Canadian university or college.

Criteria: The scholarship is open to emerging creative talent from across Canada wanting to enter into the advertising industry. Entrants must be non-professional Canadian residents over the age of 16. All fields of creativity related to the advertising community will be considered. Criteria: Job-Applications.ca is offering a $1,000 scholarship to any full-time or part-time student enrolled in an accredited post-secondary Canadian institute. Criteria (Current or past LAMP Community Health Centre volunteer):

There is no formal application form. Interested students should provide the following:

  1. A resume
  2. A narrative describing their work at LAMP Community Health Centre (CHC)
  3. A letter of reference from a LAMP staff member who has knowledge of the student’s work at LAMP CHC

Medical Student Scholarship Program Introduced by AIS Technolabs

Criteria:

  • You should have completed high school / secondary school education
  • You must have enrolled or planning to enroll for baccalaureate or masters degree in the field of medical and healthcare which can be – MBBS, MD, MS, etc.from an accredited college/institution/university
  • You must have completed at least one term of course in the medical and healthcare field
