Students are also encouraged to visit Humber’s Indigenous Education & Engagement website, which offers a wide range of academic, personal, cultural and career support services.

Criteria: Awarded to Aboriginal students who are in full-time postsecondary studies and took at least 12 months off from education prior to returning (mature students) and who have completed at least one academic year of a multi-year program, based on an application package and letters of reference.

Criteria: Provides financial support to Aboriginal students from Ontario who are pursuing a graduate degree (i.e. Master's or PhD.), professional degree (i.e. law, medicine, dentistry, etc.) or postsecondary education (which includes an undergraduate degree).

Criteria: Available to a full-time student of Native descent (Status, Non-Status, Inuit or Métis) enrolled in the second year of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at either a college or a university in Ontario that is recognized by the Ontario College of Nursing. Student must have successfully completed the first year of the program with high academic standing (minimum GPA of 3.0).
