English for Professional Communication

July 10 - August 1, 2026, Monday to Friday (8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

This course is designed to help learners develop their English language competency for effective communication in both professional and academic settings. Through task-based activities, participants will strengthen their ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. The course focuses on formal writing—including emails, reports and proposals—as well as presentation skills and professional dialogue.

Learners will engage in activities that enhance fluency across all four language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. Emphasis is placed on building vocabulary, improving grammar, and developing strategies for expressing ideas clearly and persuasively in various settings.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Communicate effectively in English across professional and academic scenarios;
  • Produce formal written communications such as reports, email, presentations and proposals;
  • Deliver structured and confident oral presentations and engage in dialogue with some level of fluency across diverse context;
  • Improve fluency and accuracy in listening, reading, writing, and speaking;
  • Apply appropriate language and tone in diverse professional settings.

This program is right for you if:

  • If you are a professionals whose first language is not English and who want to improve their fluency, pronunciation, and confidence in communicating in a professional contexts;
  • You are a college or university student who will be entering the job market and wants to improve their English language and communication skills;

  • Learners will be exposed to a rich curriculum that provides integrated language skills, communication and critical thinking skills which can be applied in a professional and academic setting;
  • Learners will be able to communication more effectively and write structured communications in English. This includes participating in professional conversations, dialogues, and collaborative presentations with some degree of fluency.
