The Longo CfE team has demonstrated significant and measurable contributions to Humber and the broader community. Through collaborating with Humber faculty and staff, contributing to Humber events, committees, and teams, partnering with industry, and leading a national entrepreneurship organization, the Longo CfE team acts as a model for community service.

The Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) is deeply embedded in the Humber community and beyond. Collaborations with internal and external partners are integral to all of the Longo CfE’s activities as they strive to co-create and deliver impact for Humber students and community partners alike. Through programs like the Longo Family Be Your Own Boss, hackathon events, contributing to the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CCSBE), or connecting entrepreneurs to talented Humber students, the Longo CfE works with organizations, companies, and individuals outside of Humber to promote the institution, advance relationships in industry, and assist with community projects.

The Longo CfE actively participates in institutional events, activities, committees, and teams, often acting as thought leaders and collaborators. They often participate in leadership roles such as speaking as panelists for the Advising Conference, facilitating workshops, acting as co-leaders to launch new Employability Experience Fund initiatives, contributing to the Applied Research Review working group, and being a member on the Humber Polytechnic Council. The Longo CfE is deeply embedded in the Humber community and fiercely committed to serving all Humber stakeholders.
