To be eligible to renew your registration at the end of your initial two-year registration cycle with RECO, you must complete the Post-Registration Phase. Complete the mandatory compliance course and then complete any two of the remaining 5 electives. You will have a maximum of 24 months to complete your Post-Registration Phase. This includes up to 4 weeks per course.
NOTE: Successful completion of the Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Commercial Properties (Fundamentals) is a prerequisite to registering for Real Estate as an Investment Strategy: Commercial Properties (Advanced).
Learners must finish the Post-Registration Phase within the initial two-year registration cycle with RECO in order to renew their registration.
Please note that the Post-Registration Phase is phase three of the Real Estate Salesperson Program. All learners who have completed the Pre-Registration Phase and have registered with RECO are eligible to enroll in the Post-Registration Phase.
For all Courses in the Post-Registration Phase, you are allowed a maximum completion timeframe of 4 weeks for each course.
To find the Course Access Dates, learners must log into the Learner Portal and access their eLearning courses. Learners will see the following labels with the specific dates associated with the section for which they have registered.

The Recommended Completion Date
The Last Access Date (maximum completion timeframe)
Once you complete the course, the course materials remain available for 12 months.
All Real Estate Salesperson Program Post-Registration Phase extension requests are determined by RECO.
