Exam Overview

The Interprovincial Challenge Examination assesses an applicant’s knowledge of the laws that apply to trading in real estate in Ontario. Upon successfully completing the Exam, individuals may apply to RECO for registration as a salesperson or broker.

Individuals will qualify to take the Interprovincial Challenge Examination if they are currently licenced/registered and authorized to trade in real estate in one-or-more of the qualifying Canadian provinces or territories. Individuals are encouraged to visit RECO’s website for additional information and to confirm eligibility before registering for the Exam.

To help you prepare for the Exam, study materials in PDF format will be provided to you. You will be able to access these materials from the LMS under the Reference tab once you have successfully registered for the exam.
