Creating a Positive Sustainability Loop: Plans for a Humber Community Device Drive

With the holiday shopping season upon us, the Office of Sustainability, Community Outreach & Workforce Development, and Information Technology Solutions would like to encourage you to hold on to your old computing devices (laptops, desktops, tablets) for a future RCT device drive. We see this forming a positive sustainability loop by giving Humber community members a place to upcycle devices that are no longer in use to a community partner that will recycle parts for a worthy initiative seeking to provide equitable technology access.

About the RCT Program

The program was piloted in the Winter 2020 semester and continues into the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 semester. There are several packages and options available, including shipping directly to the homes of eligible Humber learners or direct warehouse pick-ups.
