Sometimes children arrive for school programs or nature camps at the Humber Arboretum under-dressed for the weather and need to borrow outerwear to be able to fully participate. We will happily take the following outerwear for kids and young teens:
- winter hats, mitts, gloves, scarves, earmuffs
- winter jackets
- snow pants
- winter boots
- rain jackets
- splash pants
- rain boots
Bring your donation to the Centre for Urban Ecology during regular hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the latest episode of the NEXTcast podcast, available free on Soundcloud and iTunes, we speak with Darren Richards from Creative Studio about Panopto, the educational video platform used by hundreds of academic institutions, organizations and corporations across North America.
“Part of what makes [Panopto] so valuable is the ability to use your mobile phone—something that all of us have already—and use that phone to create and share videos with your students. All with a couple clicks of a button.” – Darren Richards
