In response to feedback from staff, faculty and Humber’s Joint Health and Safety Committee, Banner’s web-based interface (INB) is now available to be viewed in two font sizes.

INB users have an option to select a larger font size on the screen with a few easy steps:
• Go to https://esp.humber.ca
• Select Production tab
• Under Internet Native Banner (INB), select Enhanced Font Size – INB Production Database [PROD]
• Enter your Humber login credentials (username and password)

This enhancement ensures the Banner interface is easier to read, as well as compliant with AODA requirements.

If you have any questions, please contact ITS Support Centre at 416.675.6622 x8888 (x4786 from Residence) or 1.866.484.6622 (Toll Free).

Humber officially opened the Learning Resource Commons at the North Campus on Friday September 25.

The Learning Resource Commons was built to create much-needed space for our growing student population.

The building, which was built to LEED Silver standards, was completed in the spring. Students began using the facilities – including the new, expanded library and study spaces – in September.

Tours were given, pumpkin and watermelon carvings admired and many a selfie taken with the Humber Hawk. Click here to see a photo gallery from the opening.

For over 35 years, Humber Student/Staff players of all abilities have played hockey in an environment that is filled with fun and good sporting skaters. Humber Athletics is a great supporter of our friendly weekly pick-up hockey.

This is your personal invitation to join our great 2015/2016 group. Our first game was Wednesday, September 23rd at 5 p.m..

Any ability students/staff and both genders are most welcome. However, full equipment is required. We are looking for forwards and defence to join our core group. Our goalie situation is very well covered at present, but contact us to place you on a goalie spare list, in case we have conflicts.

We have a prime rental time and great ice at the Centennial Park arena, 156 Centennial Park Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9C 5N3 (just south of the airport).

We play from September to April and have 30 games. The price is a very reasonable $20 per individual game and lower if you sign up for the year. Come and play a few games to see if you like it and you will get credit if you eventually sign up for the year. Contact us if you want to be on the skater spare list.

Contact Steve Anderson at steve.anderson@humber.ca for more details or ask around to see who has played before. May I request that each school copy this and display this notice it prominently? Thank you in advance.

Have a GREAT day and locate all your hockey equipment for Wednesday, September 23rd at 5:00PM or any other Wednesday.

It is all in the HUMBER SPIRIT!
