Session One: Mediah will share his knowledge gained from his 25 years' experience as a graffiti artist and provide context about graffiti art street culture and drawing.

Session Two: In the second event, learn how to build a professional path that is customized and authentic to individual influences, styles, and experiences.

Session Three: In the last session, you’ll learn how to innovate with your brand and build multiple streams of revenue to support an on-going artistic practice and career.

About Mediah

MEDIAH is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist who weaves graffiti/street art forms with painterly techniques and digital media to create cinematic environments. Heavily inspired by avionics, mechanical engineering and schematics, MEDIAH’s abstract work utilizes speed, motion, dynamism, and force to depict otherworldly dimensions.

With a career spanning 25 years, MEDIAH is described as ‘one of the most respected and revered graffiti artists in Canada’ due to his extensive and prolific career painting large-scale murals, participating in solo and group art exhibitions, and creating immersive, cinematic video and animation productions.

MEDIAH’s industry experience in broadcast design, motion graphics, VFX and video post production combined with his 25 year graffiti, contemporary art career has given him a unique toolset which allows him to create immersive environments that combine animation, digital media, graffiti, and traditional fine art which can then be manipulated in real-time. MEDIAH produces his fine art and immersive projects in his state of the art IAH Digital art facility that specializes in fine art, print production, animation, VR, VFX, and video post-production.

Centre for Creative Business Innovation (CCBI)

Humber’s Centre for Creative Business Innovation (CCBI) is a hub for problem finders, solution builders and innovative creators. We work with your industry to build and then manage cross-disciplinary teams of students, faculty experts and industry partners to help you leverage change and boost business through uncertain times.

The CCBI helps businesses and communities reap the benefits of creativity-driven innovation. In an era of digital disruption and growing competitive pressures, creativity is a key driver of competitive advantage and business success.

CCBI research projects involve three partners, a community/industry partner, and cross-disciplinary teams of Humber students and faculty.

The process begins with a community or industry-based individual or organization looking for a creative and innovative solution to a real-world challenge. Humber students and faculty work alongside the community/industry partner to identify, test, and implement potential solutions.

This event will be event will be hosted on Zoom and will have captioning available.

Humber Virtual Pathways Fair 2021

Program Planning Development & Renewal and the Office of the Registrar would like to invite you to attend Humber’s first-ever Virtual Pathways Fair.

During this difficult time, this event will allow you and our students to learn about the pathway agreements at Humber and at our partner institutions. This is also a great opportunity for the Humber community to build relationships with institutions that are sending us students and receiving our graduates. Articulated pathways are great selling features for prospective students and their parents. Also, our graduates moving on to work, graduate studies, law school, and other post Humber successes, lead to great recruitment stories.

We’re encouraging everyone to attend and make this event a success. 70+ partners will be in attendance, supporting Humber and it’s students. The fee collected from this event will go towards scholarships to assist our students financially.

We hope to see you there.
