Register today for the Move for Mental Health Awareness Run/Walk at Humber Lakeshore Campus!

Come and show your support for the Mental Health Awareness Month and learn about what services the campus has to offer to help on your positive health journey. This is not a fundraising event, rather an awareness campaign and the chance for the community to come together.

  • The event begins at 12:20 p.m. with a short opening ceremony however, we encourage all participants to join us, and run or walk at your preferred/available time. 
  • There is no official start time – we hope to promote participation, support, and awareness for mental health throughout the event. 
  • Please note the latest course start time for all participants is 1:30 p.m. Participants arriving after 1:30 p.m. will not be able to access the course.​

In this fundamental workshop, we will explore human-centered design, a design management framework that develops solutions to problems by involving the human perspective in all steps of the problem-solving process. Understanding this framework is the underpinning of design thinking and a critical first step towards creating change within organizations.

The Toronto Raptors are bringing the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy to North Campus on October 5. They will be stopping at Humber College as part of the OSBA Preseason Showcase. The showcase is a series of basketball games taking place in the gym this weekend. 

Victory Creative Group will be on site with the trophy from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the south end of Lot 14.

Applied Research & Innovation is piloting Riipen, a new tool to make it easier for educators to embed industry projects and live case studies directly in the curriculum.

We invite you to join a workshop on October 4 to learn about this new project-based experiential learning resource. During this session, you'll find out how you can make courses in your specific subject area experiential and get immediate support to connect your students with course-aligned projects from companies and nonprofits. By the end of the session, you will learn have learned:

  • How to join Riipen, Humber’s new online project-based experiential learning ecosystem
  • How to easily design an experiential assignment or capstone for your students
  • How to connect with employers who can provide your students with curriculum-aligned projects
