Nuit Blanche is back at Humber Polytechnic’s Lakeshore Campus!

This fall, Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s free all-night celebration of contemporary art that transforms public spaces into extraordinary landscapes and animates cultural sites throughout the city, returns on Saturday, October 5 from 7 p.m. to  7 a.m.

This year’s theme, Bridging Distance, invites audiences to explore ways in which we experience and perceive distance through more than 80 works by local, national and international artists. This is an opportunity for recalibration and to reconnect with our city, our world and each other, in public space.

Humber Lakeshore Campus will be an Independent Project Hub, showcasing 12 projects, including works by Humber students, alumni, faculty and a City of Toronto major commissioned project by an international artist.

Visit http://toronto.ca/nbto for more info and to view the artists coming to Humber this fall.

Indigenous Education & Engagement team invite you to attend the Survivors' Flag raising ceremony.

The Survivors’ Flag is an expression of remembrance, meant to honour residential school Survivors and all the lives and communities impacted by the residential school system in Canada. Each element depicted on the flag was carefully selected by Survivors from across Canada, who were consulted in the flag’s creation.

The ceremony will begin outside at the base of the flag poles in front of the LRC at North Campus where we will have speeches and the flag raising.
