In this workshop, the importance of preparation by completing a needs analysis and creating learning outcomes will be explored. The participants will examine suggested elements in a lesson plan as well as an effective lesson plan template. The plan will identify what you will teach, how you will deliver the material, and how the outcomes are measured.

This session will enable participants to design and implement an effective lesson plan to meet the diverse needs of learners.

The Teaching Effectiveness Certificate program is designed for those interested in the field of teaching or private sector training. The courses within this certificate program provide participants with an opportunity to explore best practices in teaching and learning and apply the skills learned in a safe environment with other classmates. The certificate is comprised of five individual courses that are designed to develop essential teaching competencies. Upon successful completion of the five courses, participants receive a Certificate of Completion.
