The new Faculty Orientation presents an overview of Humber College, a glimpse into Humber’s student population, Humber services, resources for faculty and students, and faculty teaching processes and procedures.
A “Survival Kit” is provided to all participants that includes a Faculty handbook, campus map,Student Code of Conduct, important phone numbers, and more.
Other information will include: insights as to what defines good teaching; overview of what to prepare for your first class; time for answering questions and a tour of the campus.

Student Success & Engagement is looking for volunteers to assist new students and guests with general campus information and to hand out campus maps as part of our new “ASK ME!” program running from January 6 – 10, 2014, on the North and Lakeshore campus locations.
Volunteers will be provided with a meal voucher for each day they assist and will be entered into our daily draw for a $50 bookstore gift card!
