A Three Day Case Teaching Workshop – Want to bring the world of work into your classrooms? Want to engage your students in deeper learning?

Learn how to adapt the Case Study Method traditionally used in MBA programs to your teaching here at Humber and reap the benefits of using cases to stimulate critical thinking while allowing your students to apply new concepts immediately to real world situations. In this three-day interactive workshop, we will cover what cases are, how to run a case class and how to design a syllabus that includes cases. Faculty from all Schools and Programs, as well as those teaching on-line and hybrid courses, are welcome!

Conflict Management and Resolution – Conflict is inevitable. It has been said that conflict – managed well, results in a better product, better communication and clearer understanding. Conflict between teachers and students can, however be stressful. Utilizing sound conflict management and resolution strategies can result in positive interactions between teachers and students and increase understanding for everyone.
