Employee Appreciation

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all members of the Humber community.

Your hard work and dedication contributes to Humber’s continued success, the achievements of our students and attaining our vision – Leadership in Polytechnic Education.

To recognize your support and commitment to excellence and to assist with your planning during the holiday season, I am officially closing the College on Friday, December 23, 2016 for an “Employee Appreciation Day”.

The College will reopen on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.

As we wrap up our annual convocation celebrations – the culmination of so much hard work and dedication – I am pleased to inform the Humber community that the 2015-16 Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements have been approved by the Board of Governors.

Humber Staff Recognition and Awards Program 2016

I would like to take this opportunity to update you on the activities of the Employee Engagement Recognition Committee. As you will recall, the results of our 2014 employee engagement survey indicated that we have an opportunity to better recognize our employees’ work and contributions to the college. Over the past year, the Recognition Committee has reviewed our practices and researched new opportunities.

2016-17 Business Plan and Financial Budget approved by Humber’s Board of Governors
Colleagues, I am pleased to announce that the Humber Board of Governors has approved the 2016-17 Business Plan and Budget, which were developed through an integrated process supported by the Executive Advisory Council, the Academic and Administrative Leaders Forum, the Integrated Risk Management Committee, Humber College Council and the executive team.
