I've always adored dreaming. And I had dreamed of a planet solely made of flowers, foliage, and hues of sky that an eye witnesses when it wakes up and looks up. All I could see was this landscape etched on my ceiling and a moon slumbering somewhere in that dream-like realm from my head. It was as if I had crawled into a flower pot, a womb, all over again in this life. I was also inspired by a photoshoot produced by Dazed, a British culture and fashion magazine, of Madeline Argy. They did the photoshoot at her house so that they could embody her personality and lifestyle at best. I have been watching her writing calligraphy since I was a child, so I thought every grandmother could do this. As I grew up, I realized that she was very talented and I was so proud of her. Her works were accepted many times by the Calligraphy Exhibitions.
Now she is too old to do her job. She can't even walk without her cane but I still remember her practicing calligraphy in her room. Therefore, I decided to make one big artwork by collaborating with one of her works.
To match her style of work, I painted a girl dressed in Korean traditional clothes.
