Code of Student Conduct
Humber’s Code of Student Conduct outlines individual and community expectations regarding student actions and behaviour. The Code defines that students are responsible for acting in a manner that respects others and promotes their well-being and safety.
Academic Regulations
The Academic Regulations apply to all students within Humber, and all current students enrolled in any program or course offered by Humber, in any location. These policies and procedures outline the requirements students need to fulfill in order to uphold their academic responsibilities. It also provides an outline of the processes involved in resolving issues when an informal resolution is not possible.
Of note: Students enrolled in the UNB/Humber Collaborative Bachelor of Nursing Program and the University of Guelph-Humber programs are subject to the Academic Regulations and Policies pertaining to these programs.
Academic Integrity at Humber
Academic honesty is central to the learning environment enjoyed by all members of The Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (hereafter referred to as “Humber” or “the College”) and an expectation of all Humber applicants, students, faculty and staff. A breach of academic honesty is considered to be an offense against the academic integrity of the learning environment. This policy is intended to ensure adherence to Humber’s standard of honesty and scholarly integrity in all activities relating to teaching, supervision, research, administrative and consultative work of faculty and staff and to protect the academic integrity of the institution.
