Simon created and led a short-term Study Abroad trip that was available to students from the Culinary Management, Culinary Skills, and Baking and Pastry Arts Management programs. The trip that Simon organized ties directly to curriculum and engages students through hands-on learning and working with global professionals. Students participated in a variety of hands-on learning experiences on the trip and upon returning, completed Field Placement hours in Humber on-campus kitchens.
In addition, Simon took several hours of film footage while on the trip and turned these into videos for classroom learning and general promotion of the Culinary and Baking programs.
