CCBI Speaker Series The Humber College Centre for Creative Business Innovation is launching our CCBI Speaker Series! These free online sessions will feature different subject matter experts from a range of creative disciplines, sharing their years of experience and knowledge with attendees. Join us for the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to advance your career, discover new and innovative trends, and network with industry professionals at all levels.

Centre for Creative Business Innovation (CCBI) Humber’s Centre for Creative Business Innovation (CCBI) is a hub for problem finders, solution builders and innovative creators. We work with your industry to build and then manage cross-disciplinary teams of students, faculty experts and industry partners to help you leverage change and boost business through uncertain times. The CCBI helps businesses and communities reap the benefits of creativity-driven innovation. In an era of digital disruption and growing competitive pressures, creativity is a key driver of competitive advantage and business success. CCBI research projects involve three partners: a community/industry partner, and cross-disciplinary teams of Humber students and faculty. The process begins with a community or industry-based individual or organization looking for a creative and innovative solution to a real-world challenge. Humber students and faculty work alongside the community/industry partner to identify, test, and implement potential solutions.

Join us for the 2021 Map the System Humber College final event on April 15 from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

We will be celebrating another successful year of systems thinking by Humber students, with a showcase of the 2021 Map the System Humber College competitors. There will be prizes, games and the announcement of the winning teams! The top team will advance to the Canadian Finals in May.

How do I attend this online event?

This live event will take place on Blackboard. Register for the event here.

What is Map the System?

Map the System is a global competition run by Oxford University that challenges students from any discipline to explore a complex problem that they care about using systems thinking. Rather than jumping straight into innovation and new solutions, Map the System asks students to understand issues at a deeper level and to investigate the scope of existing efforts to solve the problem before recommending their own points of intervention.

Join us in supporting and celebrating student systems thinking work and hear the announcement of the winning teams.
