The Art & Ecology program at the Humber Arboretum was introduced by Senior Nature Interpreter Ben Verdicchio and quickly became a hit with school groups and nature campers alike. Learn about the ideas behind creating place-based art using natural materials and discover how people of any age can use those ideas to engage with the outdoors. We're repeating this Lunch and Learn to offer one last chance to learn about the program from Ben, who's leaving at the end of the month.

The peer review process – in which experts critically assess manuscripts under consideration for publication in a scholarly journal - is critical to upholding the academic rigour and self-correcting nature of scholarship. More than just critically responding to a paper, there is an art to crafting a review that is constructive and rigourous, while also being reasonable and collegial. In this session, we will walk through the process of reviewing a scholarly paper with practical tips and suggestions for both novice and seasoned reviewers.
