The Connect Buddy Program provides a support team for new international students by creating an opportunity for students toconnect with a faculty, staff or admin person (who will be their faculty/staff mentor) and a returning student (who will be their Senior Student Buddy) to ensure our first semester students are welcomed and well-adjusted to life at Humber.

Gingerbread Decorating

Student’s come together to decorate gingerbread houses. We will also be encouraging students to dress up in costumes with prizes for best costume, most creative, etc

Potluck event, each student will bring an item. There will be an Ugly Sweater contest and a Secret Santa gift exchange.

L&D Workshop - Operational Planning

This one-day workshop is created to guide teams through an operational planning process in relation to their functional business goals, working through four fundamental steps that will allow participants to leave with a framework for their operational plan and model for managing execution.

Participants will:

  •  Identify and document high impact priorities related to their functional business goals
  •  Define and document the related actions required to deliver on those priorities
  •  Determine methods for tracking progress and develop a related scorecard template
  •  Establish the delivery accountability model, structure and cadence to manage execution

You can bead with us on November 5 at the North Campus (LRC 2137) and on November 7 at the Lakeshore Campus (WEL 301). Both dates are from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Both will also have a follow up drop-in for those who did not complete their poppy in the first session.
