Humber Music present New York-based jazz pianist and composer David Virelles performing with the Humber Student Ensemble Jazz Collective and special guest and Cuban percussionist Reimundo Sosa.

Humber Alumnus David Virelles, now an award-winning recording artist with the famed ECM label, will be performing his unique Cuban-influenced contemporary jazz compositions for large jazz ensemble, percussion and piano in this spectacular concert with Humber music students. This concert marks the culmination of a long tradition at Humber Music of the annual Artist-in-Residence Week. A truly transformative week of intensive workshops, masterclasses and seminars, "AIR Week" provides opportunity for students and faculty to work with, learn from, and be inspired by true masters of the jazz musical idiom.
