Applications & Eligibility
How to Apply for OSAP Funding
Please note that you can receive OSAP for Micro-credentials funding for one course at a time and the deadline to apply for OSAP is the end of the study period (ie. last day of your course or program).
To apply, please complete the following steps:
- Confirm the Humber micro-credential course you want to take is OSAP-approved at MicroLearnOntario.
- Log in to your OSAP account. If this is your first time applying for OSAP, you will need to create an account.
- Complete and submit the OSAP micro-credential application for your selected course.
- You can only be funded for one course at a time. If you plan to take multiple micro-credentials, you can apply for OSAP after the previous course is complete or ensure the study periods do not overlap.
- Your completed application must be submitted by the last day of your course.
- All required documentation must be received no later than five (5) days after the end of the current study period.
- Register and pay for the micro-credential course at humber.ca/continuous-professional-learning/learner-programs/micro-credentials.html. You are responsible for paying the full course fee to register.
- Once the course begins, Humber will confirm your enrolment to OSAP, and approved funding will be deposited into your bank account by the National Student Loan Service Centre.
