To be eligible for this scholarship, learners must reside in Oxford County or surrounding counties (Perth, Middlesex, Brant, Norfolk, Elgin, or the Region of Waterloo.)

Presented to students who excel in Exam #2 with a minimum score of 85. The selected recipients must be in good academic standing and have not attempted exam 2 more than 2 times. To be eligible for this scholarship, learners must reside in York Region.

General Eligibility Criteria

In addition to scholarship specific eligibility criteria, learners will be required to meet general eligibility requirements. All scholarships supporting the Real Estate Salesperson Program - Pre-Registration Phase learners will require the submission of an application form. Once an application is submitted, it will be assessed against the below set of general eligibility criteria.

For an application to be considered valid it must­:

  1. Be complete and accurate; that is, all fields within the form must be correctly filled out and free of any errors or omissions. The presence of any errors or omissions on an application may result in its disqualification.
  2. Be submitted within the defined application window as defined by the application deadline.
  3. Be a Real Estate Salesperson Program Pre-Registration Phase learner who has completed Exam 2 or who plans to complete Exam 2 before the end of the application period. Scholarship applications submitted by learners who have not completed Exam 2 by the end of the application period will be disqualified. Furthermore, applicants who have attempted Exam 2 more than twice will be disqualified.
  4. Be a Real Estate Salesperson Program Pre-Registration Phase learner who is actively enrolled and who will remain so until the end of the application period. Learners have 24 months to complete the pre-registration phase of the program. If an applicant's time in the pre-registration phase expires before the application period ends, those applicants will be disqualified. If learners finish the program with the application period, they qualify for the scholarship.

Scholarship Acceptance Information

  1. Only successful scholarship recipients will receive communication from the Real Estate Education Program Office.
  2. Scholarship recipient’s name’s will be posted on the Real Estate Education Program Scholarship webpage. 
  3. To receive a scholarship, offer the recipient must be a learner in the Real Estate Education Program Pre-Registration Phase and must be in good standing.
  4. If selected to receive a scholarship, learners will be notified via email, approximately 2-4 weeks after the application window closes.
  5. To accept a scholarship, learners will be asked to complete a scholarship acceptance questionnaire.
  6. Scholarships are made possible through the generosity of donors to Humber. It is extremely important to thank the donor and to let them know the positive impact
    their donation has made to your education. The acceptance questionnaire will contain a field for recipients to provide a thank you response to the donor. The recipient’s response as well as their name will be shared with the donor.
  7. Scholarship monies will be applied to the recipient’s learner account as a tuition credit within 2-4 weeks of completing the acceptance questionnaire.
