Your Future as a Real Estate Broker

What Does a Real Estate Broker Do?

Real Estate Brokers are experienced professionals who may manage or open their own brokerage, supervise salespeople, or take on more complex transactions. This role requires not only a deep understanding of real estate transactions, but also leadership, legal knowledge, and business acumen.

Real Estate Is a Regulated Profession in Ontario.

While the provincial government writes the rules that real estate salespeople, brokers, and brokerages must follow, the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO) enforces those rules on the government’s behalf. All real estate professionals in Ontario must be registered with RECO.
