This year’s theme is Amplify – amplifying voices, amplifying access, amplifying our efforts in the face of amplified challenges.
Showcase is Humber’s annual year-end faculty and staff celebration: An opportunity for us to be inspired and showcase our accomplishments, successes, and talents with each other.
This full day event will begin with welcoming remarks, followed by a variety of interactive sessions presented by over 35 of your colleagues, a virtual marketplace and keynote address called Advancing Belonging at Humber. The keynote is led by john a. powell, Director of the Othering and Belonging Institute and Professor of Law, African American, and Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley.

This webinar will be the first of the LGBTQ+ Resource Centre's Annual Pride Speaker Series. This webinar will take place online. The link to the webinar will be sent to registered particpants via email before the event.

This workshop is open to all. Staff, faculty, student, allies, and folks within the 2SLGBTQ+ community are all welcome.

Description: The workshop will be covering the context, history and resources for supporting LGBTQ2S+ students at Humber College. It will cover topics such as gender, sexuality, and community resources available to students.
Bio: Reid Lee is a trans identified white settler currently based on the land currently known as Toronto. Reid uses they/them pronouns. Reid grew up in rural Southern-Ontario where they cultivated a passion for education and resources for LGBTQ2S+ identified people within rural Canada. Reid is a youth worker focusing on the needs and supports specific to the LGBTQ2S+ community particularly for trans and gender diverse individuals.

Join us online to learn about KUKA's Connectivity with Rockwell presented by Barrett CTI industry partner KUKA Robotics. This online, professional development webinar is for Humber faculty and staff only, and takes place on Wednesday, June 2 at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Participants will be introduced to KUKA’s newest robot controller, the KR C5, and a few technologies that can be used in combination with Rockwell’s PLCs (programmable logic controller).
The Math Centre will be hosting online BA11+ Workshops.
During the workshop, we will go over the basics of using the financial calculator, do some practice questions and have opportunities for any questions. All students are welcome and it is totally free as always.

Join Humber's 2SLGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group for the annual Pride and Trans Flag Raising.
The flag raising is a symbolic representation of Humber’s support for LGBTQ+ students, staff and faculty, and the broader community. The flags are a symbol to all staff and students of the College that LGBTQ+ people are welcome and belong at Humber.
This event is open to all students, staff, faculty, administration, and community members.
Registration is mandatory for this event and can be done here.
This event will be approximately 45 minutes in length. During this time we will have speakers from the 2SLGBTQ+ ERG, IGNITE, students, staff, and administration.

Scanning is now actively extending beyond the “traditional” reverse engineering applications to include the academic areas of anthropology, archeology, health sciences, cinema & media studies. All are welcome to attend this seminar.

We have organized a Fitness Class Fundraiser for one of our very own, Chris Augusto, who has been a part of our Fitness Team for more than 15 years. His youngest son, Isaiah, has just been diagnosed with ALL - a form of leukemia. Treatment for this cancer will be intense and long. He must stay in the hospital now for at least one month and then will continue treatments at home with many trips to or stays at Sick Kids in Toronto. This fundraiser will help with their expenses while they stay in the hospital with Isaiah.

Looking to work out with someone? Grab your family members as Amanda leads you through a full-body family/partner workout! Have fun, laugh, but mostly get your workout on!
12:00 p.m - Zumba
Ditch the routine and join Monica for Zumba! This class is a cardio-based workout that combines Latin and other international music to create an interval training class that is both fun and easy to do.
12:45 p.m - H.I.I.T
Get your sweat on with Kendra as she leads you through a quick H.I.I.T workout just using your body (or add weights if you'd like). All levels are welcome, as many modifications will be given.
1:30 p.m - Yoga Flow
Join Mo in a Yoga Flow class that combines the flowing transitions from Hatha Yoga postures to Pilates core moves! You will stretch and strengthen every muscle, and there will be variations for all levels of ability. Become very calm and serene with a restful savasana visualization relaxation at the end of this session.
