After 20 years of exceptional service to Humber, Mario Alessandro has decided to officially retire at the end of December. Please join me in extending best wishes to Mario Alessandro.
Mario started with Humber Information Technology Service in 1998. But prior to joining Humber Mario graduated from the Cabinet Making program at Humber and was a cabinetmaker for 18 years. He received several awards for fine cabinetmaking. Mario has also dabbled as an entrepreneur and ran his own IT business for many years. He also volunteered with the Breast Cancer society where he helped to interconnect the various sites across Canada. Mario is truly the jack of all trades!
While at Humber, Mario also served both on the Board of Governors and College Council.
We would like to invite his Humber friends and colleagues to join us to formally recognize his valuable contribution to Humber. Please mark on your calendars Thursday, December 13 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in room B101, North Campus.
Retirement only means that it is time for a new adventure!
