Frequently Asked Questions

You can do this by completing a TD1 form(s), available on the Payroll section of the People(s) & Culture website under Tax Forms. You will need to sign the form and email it to Payroll at payroll@humber.ca.

Please note that your basic personal amount for each year will reflect what the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has specified for Basic Personal Amount and is effective January 1st of the following year. If you wish to continue claiming a personal tax credit that is other than the basic personal amount stated by CRA, you will need to complete the two (2) forms (TD1 Federal and Provincial) and email them to Payroll, with the subject line of “TD1 Forms”.  For more information, please visit the CRA-TD1 Personal Tax Credits Return page to view and download any TD1 forms you may need.

To request a Declaration of Conditions of Employment form (T2200 form for 2023 or T2200S for 2020-2022), please send an e-mail to requestT2200@humber.ca, copying your manager.

Requested T2200/T2200S forms will be made available to view, download, and print from the Human Resource Management System (HRMS). To view and download a previously requested form, please follow the same step-by-step instructions on this link: Download your T2200S Tax Form.

A Record of Employment (ROE) will be issued automatically by the Payroll department for the following reasons:

  • Maternity/Parental Leave
  • Resignation/Retirement from your employment
  • On an Unpaid Sick Leave

For any reasons other than the above, the employee will need to request an ROE by contacting the HR Support Centre.

Note: when submitting a request for your ROE to the HR Support Centre, be sure to provide your Name, Employee Number, and Assignment Number for your request to be actioned promptly.
