We are excited to announce the launch of the Mental Health for Healthcare Workers Certificate, starting Fall 2025 at Humber Polytechnic, with generous support from The Barrett Family Foundation.
This fully online certificate program is specifically designed to strengthen the mental health competencies of healthcare professionals.
In today’s evolving healthcare landscape, the ability to effectively address the mental health needs of clients has never been more critical. This comprehensive program provides essential knowledge in mental health disorders, psychopharmacology, and evidence-based therapeutic strategies. Participants will gain the skills needed to confidently navigate complex care environments, support client recovery, and uphold ethical, high-quality care standards.

- 100 per cent online, asynchronous, and flexible, learn on your schedule
- Fully funded tuition (nominal $30 registration fee per course)
- Certificate can be completed in under one year
Eligible Professions:
Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, Social Workers, Paramedics, and professionals in social services (e.g. Addiction Counsellors, Behavioural Therapists, Developmental Support Workers, Youth and Shelter Workers).
