Employee Health and Safety Training

As part of our Health and Safety Program and in compliance with legislated requirements, all Humber employees are required to attend health and safety training, including training on workplace violence and harassment.

Employee Session (Online)

This e-training session will increase workers’ awareness of health and safety in the Humber workplace. Topics covered include health and safety legislation in Ontario, your rights and responsibilities, your joint health and safety committee, an overview of the types of hazards you may encounter in your workplace, the procedures and controls in place to prevent you from becoming injured at work, the measures for responding to a workplace accident, and health and safety resources at Humber. Workplace violence and harassment prevention will be covered, and the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) will be introduced.

Employees can access the Employee Health and Safety Awareness Training course. This course is accessed through the HRMS (Human Resources Management System). You will need to sign in using your Humber Single Sign-On (SSO). Contact healthandsafety@humber.ca if you have questions.
