As part of our Health and Safety Program and in compliance with legislated requirements, all Humber employees are required to attend health and safety training.
All employees are required to complete this course which covers duties of the various workplace parties, worker rights, health and safety information specific to Humber, what to do in the event of an injury or emergency and workplace harassment and violence prevention.
All employees who work with chemicals or other hazardous materials as part of their job are required to complete WHMIS 2015 training. For WHMIS 2015 training, please email healthandsafety@humber.ca to register for an upcoming in-class or online training session.
All employees, including student workers, are responsible to contact their supervisor if additional training is required for potential or existing hazards that they may come across as part of their role.
