Leadership and Coordination of AODA Initiatives

Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber are committed to providing an accessible living, learning and working environment. The OHH and AODA Committee provide leadership and coordination of AODA initiatives to ensure Humber’s compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (2005). The OHH works alongside the AODA Committee to promote leadership, innovation, collaboration and information-sharing on all matters related to accessibility throughout Humber. AODA initiatives include but are not limited to:
  • Training and skills development
  • Resource development and distribution
  • Consultation on accessibility issues
  • Policy development and plan implementation to facilitate compliance with the AODA (2005) legislation.
All Humber employees are required to complete the Customer Service Standards Training.
