The goal of this training is to provide Humber employees with accessibility awareness and skills to design, deliver and/or instruct courses using accessible teaching methods.
The Customer Service Standards training module is a legislated training for all Humber employees that outlines what Humber College is required to do to ensure that its goods and services are accessible to all members of the Humber Community.
This course is about the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act; specifically the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation Training, the IASR. The course also addresses the Ontario Human Rights Code and how the Rights code and the IASR interact and apply to our colleges.
