Testing of Mass Notification Systems During Holiday Break

The Department of Public Safety and Facilities Management will be conducting the semi-annual testing of our mass notification systems during the 2024 holiday break. 

Testing will take place at both the North and Lakeshore campuses. 

Testing will take place as follows: 

Monday, December 23rd - Lakeshore campus (including all satellite buildings and residences) starting at 10am. Testing may take several hours

Tuesday, December 24th - North Campus (including 30 and 110 Carrier and Residence buildings) starting at 10am. Testing may several hours. 

Friday, December 27th - Lakeshore campus, if needed. Starting at 10am. Testing may take several hours. 

Please do not attend campus on these dates. Testing involves broadcasting emergency messages over the Public Address system. There will be continuous disruptions throughout the day as a result of the testing.
