Research Analyst logo

As we welcome the holidays and the upcoming break, you realize that you have projects piling up. Why not provide the gift of placement and receive the gift of a talented researcher working with you?

Are you on the lookout for assistance with a research project for the upcoming winter term? Are you in search of a skilled and talented individual capable of providing support in the following areas?

  • Data collection, research design, information retrieval, and survey design
  • Designing and implementing research projects for international or domestic populations
  • Qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and interpretation
  • Project management, proposal writing, and literature reviews
  • Students are knowledgeable with SPSS, Excel, and data visualization tools

Our highly qualified research analyst graduate students are available full-time, for 12 weeks from January - March (flexible end and start dates) to assist you with your project.

Moreover, do you have valuable industry contacts/connections swamped with work, who could potentially host a student? Feel free to share my information, and I am happy to connect them with our research talents.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to supercharge your research efforts in Winter 2024 or make the connection between Humber's RAPP program and your network.

Act now to secure your dedicated student researcher. For more information or to get started, please reach out to Bhavi Gandhi at bhavi.gandhi@humber.ca

Project hours are used for Work-Integrated Learning (placement course).

Jennie Miron (Faculty of Health Sciences & Wellness) and Mark Karam (Faculty of Media & Creative Arts) are completing a REB-approved research project titled the Artificial Intelligence Applications Acceptance Pilot Study (REB-0324). We adapted an existing survey tool with four subscales to learn more about what influences teachers to adopt genAI in their teaching practices. Our initial pilot reported three of the four subscales to be valid and reliable. To that end, after further consultation with experts, we have revised and would like to re-test one subscale to establish its reliability and validity. Once the tool has been established to be reliable and valid we hope to complete a larger study in 2024.

We ask that full-time, part-time, and sessional teachers at Humber complete this short survey. It is estimated that it will take you about 10 minutes to complete and there is a detailed explanation of the request included in the introduction. Your participation is confidential and voluntary.

Complete the survey

If you have any questions about this request please feel free to contact Jennie Miron, Principal Investigator at jennie.miron@humber.ca.

Three students working together in a group setting.

Today is Giving Tuesday – a global movement to create a world built on generosity!

Extended society care students – also known as youth in or from foster care – are particularly vulnerable to financial barriers that heavily impact their success in school.

With a gift today, you will help remove some of the barriers for Humber’s Extended Society Care students, allowing them to focus on their studies, rather than worry about their finances. And – your donation will also show them that our community stands behind them and wants them to succeed.
