Do full-time support staff go through the same process of entering their overtime hours?
For all exception time (this includes overtime and premiums), the employee will be required to enter the Start and Stop times on their time card in the HRMS with the appropriate Payroll Time Type. Please refer to your collective agreement for eligibility.
To enter Overtime hours:
- Sign into the HRMS, using your single sign-on.
- Click on the Time and Absence icon.
- On the next screen, click on the pane on the right-hand side and select Manage Time Cards.
- To create a new time card, click on the + (plus) sign.
- Once on the Create Time Card window, follow the regular steps, however, select Overtime in the Payroll Time Type dropdown.
