A candidate cannot access their job offer. How can I help them?

External Candidate

Definition: A brand new employee or someone who has not had an active contract within the last 6 months.

Reason: External candidates did not set-up their username and password for the career portal, as it was created by the hiring manager or hiring manager delegate during candidate profile creation, or the candidate does not remember their username or password for the career portal.

Resolution:

1 – The manager/delegate must provide the candidate with their username and password to the career portal should they create a candidate profile on the portal on the candidate’s behalf.

2 – The manager/delegate can check to see what the candidate’s username is and they can reset the candidate’s password for the career portal. Click here to learn how.

3 – If the candidate is not sure which email address the offer was sent to, the manager/delegate can check to see which email address the offer was sent to. Click here to learn how.

If the candidate is still not able to access their job offer, please contact your HR Coordinator or HR Generalist for assistance.

Internal Candidate (Humber)

Definition: Any employee with a current active contract or an active contract within the last 6 months.

Reason: The internal candidate may not be using the correct email account to access the job offer.

Resolution:

1 – The manager/delegate must inform the internal candidate that they need to access their job offer through the @humber.ca email account.

2 – If the employee cannot access this account, direct the employee to dial 8888 or 416-675-6622 ext.8888 to contact Humber IT Support.

Note: The email address for an internal candidate cannot be changed on HRMS.
