How do I get an Absence approval in the absence of my Manager?

To get an absence approval when your manager is away, follow the steps below:

  1. Email your manager’s manager (Next Level Up Manager) and CC your current manager to initiate the absence request.
  2. Based on your Next Level Up Manager’s feedback, submit the absence request through the HRMS so the Next Level Up Manager can approve it.
  3. Send a follow-up email to the Next Level Up Manager to let them know that you have submitted the absence request.

Note: once the absence is approved, you will receive a system notification, just as you receive it today when your manager approves an absence.
