Plan:
The plan row displays the information regarding Sick balances and Vacation balances.

Type:
Refers to the type of balance that is being displayed. Although listed as an ‘Accrual,’ Sick days are front-loaded as indicated in the plan’s respective terms of employment or collective agreement.

Balance Calculation Date:
For Vacation balances on active plans, this date refers to the end of the next pay period (ex. February 15, 2020.)
For Sick day balances, this date refers to the end of the sick year (ex. August 31, 2020).

Sick Balance:
Sick days are provided at the start of each sick year. In the case of the image above, this was the 31 of August. The balance in this section is up to date and will be updated when sick days are used.

Vacation Balance:
The Vacation balance displays the vacation days accrued up to the end of the shown pay period. Referring to the image above – as of February 15, there is a balance of 6.923 vacation days. This balance includes newly accrued vacation days as well as used vacation days. Any vacation days scheduled after this date aren’t subtracted from the balance until that particular pay period. Any vacation dates taken before the Balance Calculation Date or during the period will be subtracted from the balance and displayed immediately.
