Can a manager submit a sick or vacation day after the absence occurred?

Absences can be entered retroactively or even ahead of time (e.g. vacation, a doctor’s appointment, etc.).The employee can either submit a request via HRMS or a Manager can enter the absence on behalf of the employee. If the employee is entering an absence for a time when they were in a different role, it is best they reach out to HR for assistance.
