I’ve just spilled a large quantity of chemical outdoors; what should I do?

If you spill a large quantity of chemical outdoors:

1. Isolate the area; prevent the chemical from going into drains and the sewer system.
2. Notify Security at ext. 4000. They will contact Facilities and Health and Safety Services for spill cleanup or further spill response and will report the spill to the Ministry of Environment.
